What a joy to meet you.
I have been dreaming of starting a blog since I was a young girl. Writing has always been a passion of mine as I am an avid lover of reading, research, and information.
I never quite had my niche, but now, as a mama who struggled with what I call “environmental infertility,” I know exactly what I want to say.
With fertility rates declining globally, it’s more apparent every day that we address the common denominator…Our environment. Humans and animals alike are being robbed of the joys of parenthood due to toxic exposure to chemicals in our food, water, clothing, and household products.
We are dropping in fertility and overall health as a species, and many of us will miss out on the most precious human experience there is.
Unfortunately, with all of the hormone-disrupting chemicals like BPA, Bisphenol F, and phthalates wreaking havoc on the human endocrine system, many of us are sub-fertile. We are experiencing a sex hormone-related health crisis, and plastics are sitting high on the list of culprits.
There is a solution, and like most change the world needs, it starts at home.
In this blog, I aim to share with you my mama heart. From our fertility journey and how we overcame these struggles and welcomed our son into the world. Our regenerative mini farm and how to live sustainably in an over-consuming world, and the little changes you can make in your home to protect your family from these chemicals without disrupting your daily routine.
Inspired by St. Thérèse of Lisieux’s “Little Way,” the “Little Fix” is meant to inspire small changes every day that have a big impact on our families and our homes.
